CF Components
SS Scientific supplies a comprehensive range of Conflat (CF) flanges manufactured from high-quality 304, 304L, 316, and 316LN stainless steel.
CF flanges use the proven captured copper gasket sealing method widely adopted in both high vacuum (HV) and ultra-high-vacuum (UHV) applications.
An OFHC copper gasket is compressed between the knife edges of a pair of CF flanges to create a reliable, leak-tight seal.
This sealing technology supports bake-out temperatures up to 450°C, making it ideal for UHV environments.
ISO Components
Our ISO flanges and fittings are also produced from high-quality stainless steel.
These flanges employ an O-ring seal, positioned within a centering ring.
ISO connections provide excellent performance in high vacuum applications and can be baked to 200°C.
KF Components
The KF range, manufactured from premium stainless steel, is designed for ease of use and frequent assembly.
KF flanges use an aluminium clamp with a single wing-nut fastener, allowing tool-free and repeated disassembly.
The vacuum seal is achieved by evenly compressing an O-ring held in a centering ring between the 15-degree mating surfaces of the flanges.
KF components are suitable for high vacuum applications and are bakeable to 200°C.

All CF, ISO, and KF flange types are available with a full selection of flexible bellows, straight connectors, elbows, tees, and other vacuum components.
